Northport High School Students Named Charity Champions Grand Prize Winners

Altice Connects recognized Northport High School as a 2016-2017 Charity Champions grand prize winning school and presented students with a $2,500 check to their selected charity, the Ecumenical Lay Council Food Pantry of Northport/East Northport, during the district’s 58th annual Arts & Music Festival. Senator Carl Marcellino, Northport High School Art Club Advisor Linda Johansen and charity representative Irene Witthoff also participated in the event and recognized the students’ efforts to raise money and awareness through their Empty Bowls fundraiser.
