Altice USA Employees Volunteer with Rebuilding Together at Banana Kelly Community Improvement Association
Altice Connects, in partnership with DIY Network, HGTV, and Rebuilding Together NYC, held an employee volunteer community improvement project at the Banana Kelly Community Improvement Association in the Bronx. 42 Altice USA employees worked together to revitalize and make repairs to an outdoor Bronx community space and community room. The volunteers cleaned up the outdoor space and built picnic tables and raised garden beds, transforming the existing backyard into a functioning garden open to the local community. The group also made repairs and upgrades to the indoor community room, which is used for community events and bi-weekly ESL classes. Jason Cameron, host of Desperate Landscapes and Mancaves on DIY Network, led up the project and worked alongside the volunteers for the entire day.
