Black History Month Essay Grand Prize Winner Celebrated at Brentwood North Middle School

Brentwood North Middle School 8th grader Nzinga Anderson was selected as a runner-up in Optimum Community's inaugural Black History Month Essay Contest.

Merrimac Elementary School, Holbrook

Students from Merrimac Elementary School, created a project entitled, 'Read to Salute' which requires the children to read on their own, or be read to, in order to meet a school-wide goal of 157,000 minutes of reading while collecting items to send to soldiers overseas.
