Weehawken High School’s Peer Leadership students were recognized for their fundraising and volunteer efforts and involvement in Altice’s Charity Champions. Students have been raising money and awareness for the NJ State Elks – Camp Moore, which provides camp experiences for children with special needs. The goal of the camp is to further develop the recreational and social skills of each camper and to promote independence and greater self-confidence. Students raised over $1,200 dollars through fundraising activities including a holiday "Candy Gram Fundraiser."
