Altice USA and the Smithsonian Channel Partner for “The Lost Tapes: Malcolm X” Screening and Panel Discussion at Rutgers University

In celebration of Black History Month, Altice USA partnered with the Smithsonian Channel to bring an exclusive screening of the documentary The Lost Tapes: Malcolm X to Rutgers University – Newark in New Jersey. Presented entirely through speeches, newscasts, and rare archival footage, The Lost Tapes: Malcolm X tells the story of the activist in his own words. Over 250 students, professors, and community members attended the screening, along with New Jersey State Senator Ronald Rice, who made opening remarks. After the screening, members of the audience had the opportunity to take part in a panel discussion with Dana Tyler of CBS 2 News, Damion Thomas of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and Linda Goldman, Executive Producer of the Smithsonian Channel.
