National Night Out

On a warm August evening, the Village of Hempstead held their annual National Night Out.  Families from all around the village enjoyed delicious food, fun activities and good music.  It was all to help create meaningful and lasting relationships between the Village of Hempstead Police Department and the community.  National Night Out is part of a nationwide movement involving over thousands of communities committed to crime prevention and awareness..
