Nat Geo Mundo World Explorer Contest
NatGeo Mundo Student Explorer Contest Introduced to Students at Celia Cruz High School
Optimum Community and NatGeo Mundo visited Celia Cruz High School in the Bronx to kick off the third annual Student Explorer Contest. Students at public high schools in the Bronx and Newark, NJ are invited to apply to win a full scholarship summer travel experience.
On behalf of Optimum, actor John Leguizamo who grew up in NYC spoke to the 425 students about motivation and pursuing their dreams. Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. encouraged the students to apply and become Bronx ambassadors to the world.
The contest runs through March 25, 2016 and details are available at natgeomundoexplorer.com/optimum.
