Students Participate in Knicks Clinic at Huntspoint Recreational Center

Optimum Community partnered with the New York Knicks to bring a basketball clinic to 55 students at Huntspoint Recreation Center in the Bronx. The children participated in an instructional clinic with members of the NY Knicks Fan Development staff and NY Knicks Alumni Larry Johnson. A student reporter had the opportunity to work with Optimum Community to conduct an interview with Johnson as part of the Neighborhood Journal story about the event. Staff members from Assemblyman Marcos Crespo’s office attended on his behalf as well.
