St. Catharine's Students Participate in Charity Champions

Students at St. Catharine’s Academy were recognized by Optimum Community for participating in this year’s Charity Champions program. The students have been raising money and awareness for Mercy Center, a community for women and their families that offers programs and services to help empower women in reaching their full potential. The students were presented with $1,000 to be donated to Mercy Center, as well as $500 in seed money for the furtherance of their charitable activities. A representative from Mercy Center, Steve Stritch, was present to accept the donation and to thank the students for their commitment to others. The check presentation coincided with the completion of the students’ month-long coat drive for the charity.
