East Brooklyn Students Recognized for Participation in Charity Champions

Optimum Community presented East Brooklyn Community HS and their selected charity, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with checks of $500 and $1000 respectively for their participation in this year’s Charity Champions. The presentation took place during their Student Leaders meeting where the team that raised the most money for their Penny Wars campaign was treated to a lunch for their efforts. Over 100 students participated in the Penny Wars fundraiser.
