Read to Achieve Knicks Summer Reading Program at Bronx House Campground

Optimum Community brought the Knicks Read to Achieve 2014 Summer Reading Program to the Bronx House Campground in Pearl River, NY with NYS Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj and former NBA superstar, John Starks. Distinguished guests and children volunteers read aloud from Barbara E. Barber’s fun and inspiring book, Allie’s Basketball Dream. Following the reading, approximately 74 campers took part in the “Knicks Postcard Club” quiz about the book and participated in raffles and autograph signings.
