Charity Champions
Charity Champions Cardinal Hayes HS
Optimum Community recognized students at Cardinal Hayes High School for participating in this year’s Charity Champions program during their annual Christmas Service. Students are working this year to raise money for the Sacred Heart Food Pantry, a local organization that services over 500 needy families in one of the poorest areas in all of New York. Father Franco was there to represent the organization and accept a $1,000 check to the food pantry, and President of Cardinal Hayes High School, Father Keirnan, accepted $500 to further their fundraising efforts. The check presentation took place following performances by the school band and gospel choir.
