Weehawken High School Students Receive Charity Champions Donation For the Garden State Episcopal Community Development Center

Optimum Community hosted a Charity Champions Check Presentation at Weehawken High School with special guest Mayor Richard Turner. The school’s Peer Leadership students, as part of their participation in Charity Champions, are raising funds for the Garden State Episcopal Community Development Center. Optimum Community donated $1,000 to the Center on behalf of Weehawken HS.

The Garden State Episcopal Community Development Center is a nonprofit serving New Jersey since 1986, providing affordable housing development, social services and supportive housing to the community. With the goal of "Building Strong Communities," their approach is structured to meet the multi-faceted and ever-changing needs of specific neighborhoods and populations.
