Charity Champions

East Side High School Students Receive Charity Champions Donation For St. John’s Soup Kitchen In Newark

Optimum Community hosted a Charity Champions check presentation at East Side High School. For the third year in a row, students in the Peer Group Connection program have chosen to raise money for St. John’s Soup Kitchen, which is located in Newark. The check presentation took place at the school’s Annual Family Night dinner at which over 150 parents and peers were in attendance. As part of their fundraising efforts, gift baskets were raffled off throughout the evening.
