Plainedge High School Students Host a Relay For Life As Part of Their Participation in Charity Champions

Students at Plainedge High School hosted an exciting Relay For Life fundraiser, raising money for the school’s selected charity, the American Cancer Society. At the start of the event, representatives from Optimum Community presented ACS with a $1,000 donation on behalf of the students who are participating in Charity Champions, which rewards the charitable efforts of high school students.

Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement.
