Cablevision brought Meet the Leaders, its interview-style program connecting viewers to local leaders through moderated discussion, to Carle Place High School to discuss local politics and town park issues with panel guest, North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth.

Students engaged the town supervisor with topics about environmental reforms and maintenance of the North Hempstead Beach Park, the North Hempstead Meals On Wheels program, and the restoration of the Stepping Stone Lighthouse.
