Arlington High School Students Participate in a Special Veterans Day Presentation

Congressman Chris Gibson, Town of LaGrange Supervisor Alan Bell and VFW Post 170 Commander Andrew Castro were the featured guests at Optimum Community’s Veterans Day celebration at Arlington High School. At the start of the program, representatives from Optimum Community presented Commander Castro with a check for $2,500 to the VFW Post 170 in recognition of Veterans Day. Host Kerry Donovan kicked off the live program by welcoming the guests and students before turning the show over to students, who asked the guests questions ranging from what they can do as citizens to support veterans to who their military role models were. The program offered the students a chance to connect with veterans in their communities and to honor those who have served our country.
