With so much of your child’s time spent online, do you ever wonder if your teen’s digital life is typical? Sonia Livingstone, professor of social psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, recently spent one year studying the digital lives of a class of 13-year-olds in the United Kingdom. She describes her findings in a recent article, and talks about trends she saw such as students often doing their homework while checking Facebook.
