Altice USA sponsored the Women and Technology Conference in Charleston, WV. Hosted by TechConnect West Virginia, the event addressed the under-representation of women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and included remarks from US Senator Shelley Moore Capito, Karen Friel, District Director, US Small Business Administration West Virginia Office and Carroll A. Thomas, Director, Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership at the National Institute of Standards and Technology of the US Department of Commerce. The conference also addressed the gender gap and ways to encourage future generations of girls to pursue STEM fields.
