Altice Connects and Suddenlink joined The History Channel to honor our veterans at Glenn Middle School in San Angelo, TX. The Take a Veteran to School Day event opened with a flag raising for "To The Colors," a bugle call that render honors to the nation and commands all the same courtesies as the National Anthem. Invited area veterans spent time with the students at a special assembly, where the students heard from Airman 1st Class Hailey Slenk with Joy, her Military Working Dog and Col Christopher Harris, 17th Training Wing, Goodfellow Air Force Base, and got to interview members of the different military branches. The program included performances by Glenn Middle School choir, orchestra and band.
